The South Hill Chamber of Commerce and the South Hill Rotary Club announces the "Second Annual"  South Hill Wine Festival to be held September 22, 2012 from 12 noon until 5 p.m. in the newly redesigned Centennial Park in South Hill, VA. "Come for the Wine…Stay for the Weekend” as you enjoy a great day in one of South Hill’s oldest parks.  

The event will feature Virginia wineries, local artists, food from local restaurants and more. Music will be provided by Michael Redman and Gill Edwards from 12Noon-2:00PM and "Just Friends" from 2:30PM-5:00PM. It is your chance to be a part of the beginnings of a fun addition to things to do in South Hill. Come to town early enough to check out the Model Train Museum and the Virginia S. Evans Doll Museum located in The Chamber of Commerce Depot building and the Tobacco Farm Life Museum of Virginia, just down the street. The newly renovated Colonial Center and much more are all within walking distance of the park.

Tickets: are $20 in advance and $25 at the gate and include one wine glass and tasting.
